From Psalm 119 we read "Forever, O LORD, your word is firmly fixed in the heavens." Also, "Through your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way." Over the centuries, the Bible has been under attack yet it stands strong, just as the earth stands. Give yourself a break from the pull of entertainment and consider reading it. It is more than just words on pages of paper; it has power to change your life. You can know the Author, His thoughts and His heart for those who are hurting. These are words that help and words that heal.
